Original Smooth Leather

Terracare® Leather exudes timeless sophistication with its smooth, velvety texture. Ethically crafted in Germany, the eco-friendly leather is soft, breathable, and durable. Designed to age beautifully, it develops a unique character over time.

Upper: Water- and eco-conscious terracare® original smooth leather. 2,5mm thick full-grain leather
Midsole: Vegetable tanned leather

Outsole: Natural crepe rubber. Soft and shock absorbing. They allow our shoes to be repairable and resolable
Arch: The insole is flat and allows for natural movement of the foot and toes. Most inserts and orthotics are well-accommodated. If you require arch support we have special insoles made for duckfeet
Fit: Medium-to-wide fit with a wide toe box that allows toes to splay naturally. Offered in European gender-neutral sizes

Leather is skin, and skin needs care. We recommend that you apply a thin layer of leather conditioner or shoe cream at regular intervals. It’s better to use a little less a bit more often

The fit, the colour, the service! Sjælland - Green

As a large and wide foot girly I struggle with finding good shoes. Good to me means I like how they look on top of how they feel. As a recent runner, my feet have widened and I can no longer cope with shoes that mostly fit.
Hello Duck feet! Simon and his team helped me square up the right colour and size over a few emails.
Once ordered - they arrived the next business day.
I hope to add another pair (or 3) in the very near future and look forward to many years wear from these shoes.

No more squishy toes!

I have worn my Duckfeet to work 3 days now and recieved sooo many compliments on them! Most saying they r so cute. I was sick of wearing white or black leather shoes that just squash my toes in so took a chance and I’m so glad I did. Still adjusting to the flat sole but I may invest in the insoles eventually for a bit of arch support. We will see.

In cocoa colour but just be aware the leather conditioner does make them a bit darker. Aweeome shoes love the wide toe on them and very comfy. Arch support insoles fit great

My new city favourites

I already own and love two pairs of Duckfeet lace up boots that get me through the bleak outdoors where I live, but with a move to more office-based work, I have justified this purchase as my “city worker” boots. Somehow the black sole makes them look lighter overall, and with black tights and my office wear I still get to feel a bit more rugged and earthed while attempting urban sophistication. They needed almost no breaking in - just a bandaid to protect the back of the ankle where the leather of the shoe is stiffest - and felt good from first wear, and I feel good wearing them. My old boots are going strong after almost 16 years so averaging the purchase price over the length of wear is another justification, if you need one.

Loving new Sjaelland boots. They are so sturdy and nicely made. Leather initially feels stiff, but after a few wears, they are already feeling less stiff and better. I probably should have bought 1 size down since they are quite wide, but with insole, they fit beautifully.

Incredible Comfort with looks to match

I felt like I was taking a leap of faith buying these without having tried them on. But I was not left remotely disappointed. The shoes are incredibly comfortable. The most comfortable shoes I've owned so far. The build quality and the leather used is excellent. Easily rivals, if not exceeds the build and leather quality of RM Williams - but at a much lower cost. I wore them for a day and went straight back online and bought another pair in a different color. A truly phenomenal shoe.

Great boots

These boots are breaking in nicely and will be great for years to come. The double stitching, strong long laces, thick rubber soles and durable leather will ensure that I get years of wear out of these. The colour is as pictured and shipping was fast. Be warned, the sturdy leather does need some wearing to soften up.

Awesome build quality,
And comfortable so far; I expect that as the shoes get worn in, they will only get more comfy to wear.

I do wish they were slightly wider in fit, but that’s just an issue with my flat feet, and I think the size and fit otherwise suits most people.

I can't praise the Duckfeet service enough! I was looking at refurbishing my first pair of duckfeet (Fyns- purchased 9 years ago, worn continuously over that time and still going) but thanks to quick response and advice from the team it was clear they were past the point of a simple re-sole. I chose the classic sjaelland, confident I'd be getting a pair of shoes that last the distance and fit my feet beautifully- great for walking/standing at work all day (teaching in a classroom up to 6 hours a day) but I didn't expect next day delivery. I've worn my new feet a few days now and they're already starting to soften up and mold to my feet. Love them!
