Original Smooth Leather

Terracare® Leather exudes timeless sophistication with its smooth, velvety texture. Ethically crafted in Germany, the eco-friendly leather is soft, breathable, and durable. Designed to age beautifully, it develops a unique character over time.

Style: Closed-toe ankle-strap sandal
Upper: Water- and eco-conscious terracare® original smooth leather. 2,5mm thick full-grain leather
Midsole: Vegetable tanned leather
Lining: None
Insole: terracare® leather
Outsole: Natural crepe rubber. Soft and shock absorbing. They allow our shoes to be repairable and resolable
Arch: The insole is flat and allows for natural movement of the foot and toes. Most inserts and orthotics are well-accommodated. If you require arch support we have special insoles made for duckfeet
Fit: Medium-to-wide fit with a wide toe box that allows toes to splay naturally. Offered in European gender-neutral sizes

Leather is skin, and skin needs care. We recommend that you apply a thin layer of leather conditioner or shoe cream at regular intervals. It’s better to use a little less a bit more often

Welcome to Mols

Mols is a stunning landscape stretching across the southern part of Djursland on the east coast of Jylland. Here, you will find Mols Bjerge, which, in addition to forming a splendid landscape, is also preserved nature and part of the Mols Bjerge National Park. The residents of Mols are called Molbo’s, and for centuries, Danes have been telling tales of their alleged foolishness in the so-called Molbo stories.

Cool, smart, comfortable shoes for big feet

These are my second Mols and sixth pair of Duckfeet overall and I love them. I find that I have to size up in the Mols - I comfortably wear Sjaellands, Himmerlands, Jyllands and Lollands in a size 43 but need a size 44 in the Mols to get the same fit/comfort. The turquoisey-green colour of this pair is beautiful and unusual, the style meets my work’s requirement for closed toes/heels but the Mols still feel like wearing sandals in summer (I wear them with socks in winter) and they’re *cute*, which can be a hard quality to find when you have big feet. I have ten-year-old Duckfeet that are still going strong and I look forward to wearing these ones for years to come.

Needs some time to break in but love the look and the colour!

Recently got the blue mols - comfortable to walk in and the sole is nice and flexible but the leather needed stretching to be really comfortable - will still take a bit longer I think. Different to my himmerlands which had comfortable leather uppers but the sole was harder and took longer to feel comfortable. I also have the rykobing sandals (red) - comfortable right from the start, really soft leather and lovely colour!

Great quality but not good for wide feet

First of all I love the quality of the shoes, they’re very solid and well made. I have quite wide/bulky feet and the opening around the toes was way too small. As it’s leather I’ve used a shoe stretcher to try to expand the opening. As the leather is very thick it digs into my feet making walking very uncomfortable. I’m hoping that this will soften over time. I still can’t do much more than 500m before the top of my feet starts bruising due to the hard leather edge, but hope that over time this will mold to my feet.

Mols - the sandal for all seasons

These are my third pair of Duckfeet, and my first pair of Mols. I was after an enclosed toe leather sandal I could wear to work and these are perfect. They are comfortable to wear all day, and the perfect style to wear with stockings in winter or bare in summer. I got them in the pink and so glad of the choice as it is just bright enough to lift an outfit, but not gaudy. I am eyeing off a pair of green ones as my second pair of Mols

This is my third pair of Duckfeet, as I have transitioned to only wearing Duckfeet! I love my Himmerland's and Roskilde's but have to say that my Mols are my favourites. We live in NZ and can only order Duckfeet through Australia. When at my daughter's school last week another mother came up and asked "are those Duckfeet?". Never met her before but we bonded over my Duckfeet. She had been looking at the website for a while, but was worried about sizing. She tried mine on for size and off she went to order some. More Emerald than Torquoise but Beautiful.

I stalked these from New Zealand for so long and was planning to try some on when I visit Melbourne next year but then there was a great sale so I measured my feet ten times and took the risk. Initially I was slightly disapointed that the colour is really green not turqoise but I do love the way they look. They are very stiff and I'm stil working on breaking them in with wearing them for short periods at I time. I'm pretty sure the size is good and soon they'll be comfortable. I'm enjoying wearing and admiring them while lying down doing feet stretches.
